Booking Terms and Conditions
Vivi l’Irlanda Experience considers the choice of host family to be more important than a specific town or region. Vivi l’Irlanda reserves the right to change the allocated host family before or during the course if this becomes necessary. Enrolments are accepted on condition that students have no illness or infirmities that they do not mention and explain in advance. In the event of discovery of any serious health problem/contagious illness, mental or physical handicap not disclosed at the time of booking, Vivi l’Irlanda Experience reserves the right to terminate the course and repatriate that student at their own cost and without refund of fees.
HOW TO PAY
To confirm your booking, we require a deposit of €200.00. (Or the full course fee if your arrival is within 4 weeks.)The balance of your course fee should be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation of bookings before arrival: For cancellations received at least thirty (30) days prior to the course commencement date, fees will be refunded less the non-refundable deposit of €200,00. For cancellations received within the balance and seven (7) days prior to the course commencement, 50% of the course fee will be refunded. For cancellation of less than 7 days no refund will be given.
Once a student has commenced his course he is obliged to complete his full course of study. No refund will be given for course fees if a student withdraws from the course before the completion of the full course of study.
Additional charges for flights and other costs will not be covered by Vivi l’Irlanda Experience Ltd and are the responsibility of the student.
LIABILITY
Vivi I’Irlanda Experience only acts as an agent between its students and the host families. Vivi l’Irlanda Experience excludes all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to a student including injury, damage loss, delay or accident which may happen during the student’s stay with the host family, or as a result of activities they take part in during their stay, or whilst travelling to and from the family’s home.
Vivi l’Irlanda Experience nor the host family is responsible for students’ personal possessions. It is an explicit condition of enrolment that students/parents accept full financial responsibility for any damage caused by them to the host family’s property.
ACCOMODATION
Refunds will not be given for early departure. Extra nights in host family are possible, subject to availability and an additional charge.
INSURANCE
Vivi I’Irlanda Experience subscribes all our students to a medical and travel insurance called GLOBY STUDENT Allianz. All our students are automatically covered, as the cost is included in your course fee. It is the insurance company who will process and decide on the validity of any claims.
Students travelling from EU countries should bring their European Health Insurance Card with them. This only entitles students to emergency hospital care and attendance at certain doctors. Please note that this will not cover elective procedures or dental visits.
PUBLICITY MATERIALS
Permission is given for the use of student comments or testimonials and photographs / images of students in the official promotional material for Vivi l’Irlanda Experience by the applicant with acceptance of these terms and conditions.
